After years of on and of development, the sequel to the much remembered A Koopa's Revenge has finally arrived. It's weird to have this finally off my back (mostly, there are surely going to be some changes) it's like graduating from University. No more stalling gotta get serious about stuff now. You guys probably don't need to hear that, but I needed to get it out.

It's bigger, faster and prettier than the first. So give her a looksee. And if you're too impatient to wait less than a hour for the NG ulpload, you can play it on my site: http://lambta.co/koopas-revenge-2/

I came.

Be sure to clean up. I know this is Newgrounds, but even we have standards here.

I didnt play part 1, but good game. Nice and clean graphics, good selection of sounds and music and well made controls & movement. What i really dont like though is that jumping has its own key, why not just use Up-Arrow for that?

Otherwise, good Job. 4 Stars.

Up enters doors and climbs ladders, so there are some issues with mapping jump to it. I've seen games where down enters doors while up jumps, but I still have the ladder problem. The game's a bit too complicated for such a simple control scheme unfortunately. That, and I wanted it to play like a Mario game. Thanks for the compliments.

Played the first part aged ago. It is so rad to see the sequel! You are awesome!

Thank you. I try my best to be awesome.

Aaah yeah

Time to relive my not-so fond memories of this game.

Hopefully you're able to create some new, fonder memories.

Oh boy nostalgia time!

Yeah, nostalgia! Powering the economy since 2008.

So you finally completed it...

I admit I was a fan of the original. Though I usually dislike 'hero is bad, villain is good' out-of-character stuff, the first game's sheer absurdity, excellent level design, interesting gimmicks, superb bosses, nice hand-drawn graphics, good music selection... and well, pretty much everything other than the lack of an ending made it one of my all-time favorite.

Not just among Mario flashes but among all the flash games I played and even among all Mario fangames. The game did age quite a bit (in particular the physics engine) but it was a blast.

So to see you finally finishing up the sequel? I'm impressed. I have not yet beaten the game (stuck on the final boss's second form) but I do plan to write a review when I'm done. So far, the game is fantastic and a genuine improvement over the original. I expected just more levels and bosses but the way you radically expanded on the game make it a colossal improvement.

My only hopes is that the ending will be more satisfying than the first game's.

Good job overall!

Finally. That's the best one word description of it.

Thanks. I find level design to be the area that Mario fan game tend to fail. They just slap a bunch of blocks in the air and call it a day, which gets old after about two minutes.

The physics were so bad. The way I rigged them up was so amateur. But I think there simple nature may have helped the game. People are complaining that Koopa doesn't stop immediately when you release the key in the new game. It's almost like they've never played a Mario game before.

Thanks again. I really wanted to go beyond the first game in every way. Graphics and physics were easy to top, but creating more content turned out to be an enormous endeavor. Music was hard too; I agonized over the choices and still had to make compromises. If I had known it would take this long I wouldn't have ended the first game on a cliffhanger.

Your satisfaction with the ending will vary depending on two things. 1, whether you play all the way to the good ending, and 2, how much you favour interactivity over cut scenes.

Much appreciated.

Crap, I just realized something, I haven't found the 2nd location of the Screw Attack. I guess that's the only secret i've missed. In the end, it doesn't matter because the percentage will still go to 106%.

But can you live with yourself? Knowing there's something in the game you don't know about?

Which will be next project after Koopa 2 ?

There's an AVGN fan game I started in I think 2010. It's like 90% finished. I'll likely finish that off. It's nothing like Koopa 2 in terms of scale, but it's worth finishing.

If Koopa 2 haves version 1.03. This means that is v1.0.3

Either or. The numbering scheme isn't too important.

Also, I forgot to upload version 1.04 to NG. Ball! I guess we skip to 1.05 here.

Or Flash Player Version 10.3

Nah. It runs in Flash 8.

Ok so Flash Player Version 8

I finished A Koopa's Revenge 2!
It was very awesome.
If I saw Mario's death, I don't think that will be Koopa 3.
Or next is Luigi.

Congrats. Glad you liked it. I really don't know what's next. But Luigi is also dead, he died twice ;)

Hey Lambtaco can you tell me ware or what the secret cheat code is pretty please

It's in the second room of the first ghost house.

so remember that one comment on A Koopa's Revenge 2 that i saw the trailer it turns out that it wasn't a trailer it was part 3 of the gameplay or a montage BUT! there is a trailer if you want to watch it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTfqtc2VF-s

I suppose it's a trailer of sorts. It's just not cut together like one.
