I always thought of losing all your lives as a way to say "ok that's enough for today" since I tend to forget to take breaks
I think lives can be an option
I know I'm extremally late but I really like the idea of losing a percentage of your coins, especially if you implement a shop system or something. It's really whatever though and I'd love the game no matter what.
