how about a zombie toad that splats every time u squish it then after a while it builds back up u know like a dry bones

That's not a bad idea, but I just made a drybones like enemy yesterday, it's a Yoshi skeleton.

well i was playing Gaia halloween event.. and i tought of a few enemies

Dark Toads: lives in caves and hates light. 1 jump 1 fireball 1 bone/hammer

Count Von Toad: A vampire toad which can turn into a MushBat (a bat with a mushroom hat) 5 jumps 4 fireballs 4 bones/hammers (can be use as a boss or a mini boss)

Spiny Dolphin: a dolphin full of spikes.. 0 jump 2 fireballs 2 hammer/bones

Wharky the Whale: a HUGE whale. 5 jumps 5 fireballs 5 hammer/bones (can be used as miniboss or boss)

The dark toads seem just like regular toads.

The mushbat seems interesting, bot so sure about the Count though.

Sharky pretty much is a spiny dolphin.

What would Wharky do? He can't just sit there.

okay but how about making the zombie toad unique like when the zombie toad touches koopa he becomes covered with slop that makes him temporaraly slow and heavy how about that?

That actually could be done quite easily. I don't think I'll use a zombie toad for that though. Some sort of slimy enemy that would make you sloppy on contact.

I'm not going to draw and animate Pico. I might throw his head on Koopoa though, if there's demand enough.

1) 1. Very ominous, not very Mario though. Kind of sounds like Godzilla is coming. 2. Definitely too calm at the start, the songs need to maintain a certain level of excitement. 3. That's more like it, still, I'd like it more light-hearted. 4. This one's just kinda boring, definitely not for this type of game.
2) 1. I was actually using a less intesnse remix of this same song, but I've since dropped it in favour of something else. 2. That was, interesting. 3. Too much ambience, not enough music. 4.Not the right fit.
3) 1. That's also, interesting. 2. Hmm, it could work, but I'd have to play this one with the level to say for sure. 3. Kind of Castlevania in some bits, I'd say this would fit better in a castle. 4. Creepy, This one could be good. 5. There's just something too militaristic about this one, probably the drums. Loops well though.

cheats you can use:

star power all the time
double power (two powers combined like hammer+fire = a hammer made out of fire)
speed (very slow, slow, normal, fast, very fast)
characters (like goomba, whomp etc etc)
size (very small, small, normal, big, very big)

spawners (can be destroyed)

pipe with spots: pops out toadlets with spot color type
para yoshis: drops yoshi eggs any kind
hive: comes out a bee (when dies another comes)
small cave underwater (dark): comes out Sharky the Whale
small cave underwater (light): comes out dolphins
blue pipe: respawns Fungi beetle
spike pipe: respawns spiny shoom (in caves)
spiny cloud: drops spiny shroom (outside caves)

enemy idea:

Zom-bee: a zombie bee which if gets stomped it turns back like dry bones

Some of those cheats, particularly double power, would be too much work to add in. Ideally a cheat is just changing a variable or two.

the way I programmed the game makes it difficult to implement any sort of device that would spawn enemies. I'll probably end up with a lakitu anyway though.

I like the zom-bee's name but I don't see the drybones thing workling with an airborne enemy.

about the boss "Count Von Toad" it will be the only bat with mushroom hat.. when there comes alot of bats (the one with mustashes) CVT turns into a bat and dashing to the left screen and to the right screen with the rest of the bats (duck to dodge the bats) for about few sec and he comes back when the bats are all gone

boss idea:

Painter Toad: a toad which got a big paper which draws enemies.

first comes out 3 yoshis then 5 toadlets then 5fungi beetle and last 3 bees.

when they passed the painter toad start getting mad and start dashing around the screen trying to hit you. 4 jumps 4 fireballs 4 hammers/bones

That's just a boss from Kirby.

Here is how my queen bee mini boss idea works.

Attacks: Stinger:- she flies down to sting koopa.
Bee summon:- she summons 2 normal bees to fight for her.
Stinger launch:- she uses her bazooka to fire 3 stingers up into the air (stingers look like circles with black and yellow stripes and a silver stinger) that will fall down and become inbeded into the ground for a while, you can use them as spring paltforms.
Stinger air raid:- she fires 3-6 stingers out of her bazooka that spin and shoot in random directions and stick into the floor, walls or ceiling.
Crown toss:- she lands on the ground and uses her crown as a boomerang.
She takes 16 fireballs, 8 hammers/bones or 4 jumps to kill.

That doesn't seem too bad. This one's actually well thought out. I might make the Queen Bee, or I might use some of these ideas for another boss. I especially like the stinger launch.

I got an idea for a boss, how about Robo-Bowser, he's a robot except he's controlled by Mario and what about a minigame room? You can play some minigames. And what about a trophie room? If you complete an achievement, you get a trophie like for an example: "Beat the last boss without a power-up" or something and like a boss mode after you beat the whole game, you have to face all the bosses again but there are only 3 powerups max that you can use like in super smash bros brawl.

I think robot/puppet Bowsers have been overdone. I'm not going to make any minigames, that would only delay the games release. So far I've only had achievements unlock cheats, but maybe a little trophy would add extra incentive. There could be a trophy room in Bowser's castle.

Wharky's attacks would be moving a bit up... then a bit down... spitting water bubbles. then when he get attacked he dashes to you (to avoid must duck down or if he dashes down must stay up) and comes back from back of you...opposit side... ya know what i mean. if he dashed down you must go up and he dash up you mush duck. just a bit like kirby but big.. VERY big like almost size of the big screen. except a bit smaller so the koopa would at least fit in.

i know that about the painter... but he doesnt join so he isnt that much of kirby except kirby style like the mini boss part :P and which toad attacks.. the real painter in kirby 64 didnt attack.. just paint.. different mini bosses too

It's still pretty much exactly like the Kirby boss.

1) I used a Rainbow Road remix in the first game, don't want another one.
2) Ditto.

1) It's not bad, but I think some of the other stuff you suggested is better.
2) It's nice VG music, but I think it lacks that special something.

Probably not.

Dark Toads are actualy good fighters than Toadlets.. some of them got a sword and some of them got a staff (staff and sword are purple to match) sword only attacks front with no range and the one with staff will do the same except long range

That's pretty much just a toad with a stick in front of him, making them a little harder to jump on, but otherwise pretty ordinary.

1) 1.Wow, that's just too short. 2. Seems kinda samey considering how long it is. 3. May be a little too dancey. It's hard to play a game while dancing, unless you're playing DDR.
2) 1. It's really just a beat, the variety doesn't justify the length. Also it could do without the swearing. Normally I don't care but I'm going for sort of an E rating here. 2. That's just weird. 3. It doesn't say cave to me, sounds too open. 4. It started off kinda badass but it didn't really take it anywhere. I may use this one if nothing better comes up. Sorta watery actually.
3) 1. That's just designed to be annoying. 2. Totally doesn't fit, and not to creative of a remix.
4) 1. Might be too serious, haven't even done any art for tank levels so it's hard to tell at this point. Good loop though. 2. I think hearing that could bother anyone who's ever played a Metroid game.

Enemy ideas.
1) Roboic mini mario's like what has been suggested once before but with different types.
a) Mini mario, they jump average and move normal but they can shoot breif lasers out of their eyes thatt last for 1 second and have quite some range and can kill other enemies. 2 jumps, 2 fireballs, 1 hammer.
b) Mini luigi, Jumps about koopa's jump height and spit's out gregeggs that explode after 2 seconds. same health as mini mario's.
c) Mini wario, moves slow and jumps low but is immune to jumps so can be used as a paltform and punches and it's fist streches.
d) Mini walugi, tall and ride in tanksin tank levels, they act like rocky wrenches since walugi drove a veicle in the first akr.
e) Mini princess peach, can't be jumped due to crown but 2 fireballs or a hammer kill it. It 's specialities are thast it can usethe crown as a boomerang and floats while jumping.

1) Too complicated. If there were a bunch of types at least one would have to be the nromal one, who doesn't shoot anything. I'll only us the Marios.

can the koopa wear clothes like rayman raving rabbids 1-2? like wearing a hat, gloves, different style shoes and different style shell ( like fire style, zig zag, hero with shell type color (if green power the fire style color turns into green except a part is lighter)) and can there also be capes with styles too?

Seems like a lot of unneeded extras. Just another thing that adding in would delay the game's release.
