Hi, the new map looks even better in flash than it did on paper, did you study art by any chance? I like how the baby wario and waluigi have fake noses. The bowser coin counter is a good feature as well. Also good is the retro koopa on the map, will it become a SMB3 dry bones if you have the white shell?

5) Untouchable- Beat a boss without getting hit. 25 points
6) The power that is me- beat every boss at boss health X5. 100 points
Questions:-
1) What part of the game is being designed now?
2) Are there any hammertoads since about 21 knews posts ago (if I remember right) you said there would be.
3) Any new enemies.

Ideas
1)For the airship level you could have robo-pirates (beefy pirate versions of mini marios). There are two types.
1) Red mario's that throw fireballs.
2) Green luigi's that throw explosive kegs.

2) Instead of making mario's castle 2 levels it could be three levels. The extra level would be a boss rematch with three fights. This worlds out fine as there are six bosses besides mario. Each fight would have mario magically combine 2 bosses together so that they share attacks yet, due to the earlier beating, have less health. heres my ideas.

Fight one- soda can and salad- vegetable soda
The boss looks like a soda can with carrot arms, a vroccali hat that is periocically revealed and a vegetable pattern on it. It attacks by shooting soda balls and blasting it's carrot arms like rockets.
Weak spot- the broccoli.
Hit's to beat- 3

Fight two- Umbrella and jack-in-the-box- Umbrella in the box
A bit harder than the last. The boss looks like a normal jack in the box but the jack is perminantly revealed and is replaced by an umbrella with eyes that deflects koopa's attacks. It attacks by jumping like Lemmy in NSMB Wii, closing and then shooting out a shower of fireballs and it's last attack is it's own undoing. It folds up the umbrella so it looks like a spear and thrusts it at koopa, if it misses it gets jammed in the ground and the eyes go swirly. Jump it for damnage.
Hits to beat-5

Fight three- not sure.
I can't really say this one as I don't know what the 5th and 6th bosses will be but if you let me know I could think of a suitable merged monster.

Those are my ideas for now but I'll soon be back with more.

To be honest I just traced the map I drew on paper. Never studied art. The SMB3 Drybones is too different a style than the SMB1 Koopa Troopa.

Muzak:
1) 1. Almost fits. A bit too long though. 2. I think anything you might hear in a dance club won't do.
2) Somehwat intense. And a bad loop.
3) Too calm. The castle-type levels are going to be more action oriented.

Medals:
1) I kind of like the idea, but I'm not sure how I feel about achievements for failure.
2) This ne would probably be worth the most points. And the coins you collect or platinum so it'd need a different name.
3) I'm probably going to get rid of the boss health multiplier. It just doesn't seem too useful.
4) That wouldn't work because you can fly. Maybe one for bouncing off 15 enemies or something.
5) A little too easy to be worth that many points, but it could be a Medal.
6) See 3.

1) Right now I'm working on the sun that chases you.
2) Haven't made them yet, but they should be in the desert and afterward.
3) Just the sun right now. I haven't been too big on enemies lately. Mostly making the map work and designing levels.

Idears:
1) No pirates. Especially not robot pirates.
2) That would require me to make 3 new bosses. Don't have the time.

Awesome! I want to play this game so much more now! The map is really neat, are they in space or something?
However, I do have a critique. The noise made when you go down a pipe sounds about the same as the one were you lose your shell. And it sounds a little rushed, the original pipe sound was slower. But other than that, it's great. Love how Koopa looks on the map, too.

No, it's not space, the stars are reflected off the ocean.
It's the same sound as in the old Mario games.

Guess what, I submitted a littlebigplanet level! Could you possibly play it? It's called mystery garden and my username is pete2451 (dad played first so he made the username). It's a green fog night time garden level. So far it's been completed twice (once by myself) and is rated three stars. A comment would be nice.

The boss works on a timer, so I don't see how you could beat it considerably faster. Unless you know the exploit. It's not exactly my fastest run either, it's supposed to represent a more typical play.

musics:
1) 1. Not bad, but the map really needs to be a short loop. By the time this song gets going you'd already be in the next level. Plus the voices are annyoing. 2. I know you like LBP, but this just isn't right for Koopa at all. 3. See 2.
2) 1. It's okay, but not quite right. Another one that's more DKC than SMB. 2. Good, but not Marioy. I'd place this one in many other games before Mario. 3. A bit intense and dancey on this one. 4. Feels more Galaxy than 2D Mario. Plus the sax just ruins it for Mario purposes.
3) 1. Wowza. Not at all what I had in mind. Airships don't need pirate music. They need music like in SMB3. 2. The feel of this one is better. It needs to be slower. But it's a bit too Metal. Actually, not too reminiscent of Sonic.
4) 1. I could see this in a game, but it's not quite what I want. Though I'm not to sure about the igloo at this point. 2. Too calm. Too mellow. I can't really put jumping on guys and this song together.

I can't find the video on youtube, and the address doesn't seem to work. Is there anything specific I should search for to reach it? Also, more ideas for part of the final boss.
1.Mario makes his hat grow to gigantic size, and flies it around the screen. Shoots missiles, fireballs, etc.
2.Mario rides the Yoshi King. Yoshi King can spit out Hammer Toads and Sledge Toads now, but won't charge with Mario on him. Sometimes Mario will summon a bunch of random enemies. Other times, he will summon a black Koopa shell, with the Mario "M" on it. It has a propeller, and will bounce around the room. Jump on it, and it will turn into a regular shell. Pick it up, and throw it at Yoshi King to knock Mario off. You can shell slide if you have a shell instead. Yoshi King will get mad, and charge repeatedly, before Mario gets back on. Do your normal form of attacking him. Mario will get back on. Rinse and repeat.
Enemy ideas:
1.Yoshitrol. A Yoshi covered in armor and spikes. You can't jump on it this way, but it will try to jump on you. It will land on its head, and you can jump on it. Then it becomes a regular Yoshi. It's immune to fire. Alternately, you can hit it with 3 bones, or shell slide into it.
Powerup Idea
Koopatrol powerup. It's an expanded version of the brown shell. It makes you immune to spikes, fireballs, and firebars. Not lava or enemies, though.

2. Well, the Yoshi King is going to be a bit of a secret, so I can't put him in the main game.

1. A little too complicated to kill. An enemy like that would probably just be avoided by the player. Nothing can really take multiple shots to kill without a noticable reaction visually. If you tried to hit it three whole times it would likely kill you in that time.
Powerups are pretty much permanent at this point. And a shell that offers nothing but immunities would be fairly useless.
Music:
1. Just plain wrong. I can't imagine a Mario game with this music on the menu.
1. Hmmmmmm. Really, really close. Can't quite put my finger on why I don't want to use this one. You're on the right track though.
2. Feels cheap. And kinda slapped together.

Oh, I forgot. What feel do you want to get from the Switch Palace Music? It will help me figure out what to look for.

Whenever I play the switch palaces the bonus song from SMW plays in my head.

SwithcPalace:
1. Don't really like this one. Too slow, and this may just be me personally, but that synth clapping is jus irritating. Anyway I'd rather not use the exact song, just something like it.
2. Also too slow. Needs to be more upbeat.
Boss: Too deserty, and kinda slow paced RPG boss theme.

I'm debating whether or not to leave the exploit in. It's kinda neat.
1) 1. It's alright, but I don't want to use it. 2. Kinda too smooth. It sounds fat. but I need something more erratic. More like a character/stageselect than a boss fight. 3. Too intense. This feels more like final boss than miniboss.
2) 1. I realy don't want to use christmas music. 2. Is this the song from Charlie Brown? It almost works, but it's a bit repetitive and the Charlie Brown thing. 3. That water sound really kills it. Otherwise it's okay, but not perfect.
3) 1. It's too subdued. And it feels a little deserty. 2. Too metal.
4) I think it might sound a bit too much like rock music.

I've submitted two more levels in Littlebigplanet, I call them LBP2, the great escape parts 1 and 2. It'll be a 10 part series. Part 1 is an intro and escaping from the prison ship and part 2 is freeing the king and destroying a factory. The boss is the "arrogant bomb birther".
When you get your LBP copy back could you give them a try?

1. Really foresty. But the general feeling is closer.
2. Too aggresive. The menu them should be calm. More optimistic.

I've changed my prediction. The wizard is... Toadsworth! Also, I think his robes should be red, not blue. Cause, Kamek's robes are blue, and Mario's color is red. What do you think?

1. Not bad, but kinda minimal, and those pauses were a little offputting.
2. Kinda long for what it is. Pretty good though. May or may not end up in the game depending on what direction I take with the ghost houses.
Sky Day:
1. I get a bit too much of a chilly vibe from this one, the sky song will apply to mushroooms too, so it wouldn't work. It's also kinda slow.
2. A little too techno. Though for the sky techno isn't so bad. Just not this technoish.
Bonus satge :
1. Not quite right It just needs to be quicker. Maybe later I'll release a video of the switch palaces.
Volcano Day:
1. Started out promising but I just don't think it will work.

I think I'm gonna have a guess on who the blue robed guy is...you said it was a magikoopa and you didn't reveal anything else.
Who do we know who is a koopa, does magic and isn't kamek...GOT IT!

-Is it bowser? He's a koopa and robes could be used to conceal his identity. If it is Bowser then that is why you didn't want to say anything. And he can use magic as evidenced in paper mario with the star rod. TRhough the guy is smaller than Bowser...maybe mario shrunk him or something.

Am I right or even close? If i am right...which i probably am not, don't be angry as it was just a guess.

I've started work on the boss of the canyon level and it's becomeing "explosive" (hint, hint), I'd send it to you to look at but it won't let me since we aren't in game freinds.

I'm gonna chnage the way I format my responses to mkae it less confusing.
1) Airship:
A) It's really an RPG song. Platformer songs get into it quicker.
B) Not really very Marioish.
C) Kinda got the right idea, but there's still some problems. Like it being a Gears song. And it's a bit too calm.
D) This one's got the energy and the percussion. But it's a bit technoish. Something between C and D would be prefered. It's also kinda long. I'd prefer the songs tobe under or about the two minute mark, or at least easily edited into a loop.
2) Igloo:
A) Something evil about it. Icey too. Kinda makes me think of water, but I could just put water in the level. Maybe some swimming sections.
Notes:
1) Man, you make levels fast. all mine took forever to make.
2) I'm not very fond of LBP bosses to be honest, and I don't have the MGS pack so no paintinator. Besides, I need to spend more time on Flash and less time on playing videogames.

Medal Ideas:
1. Truce: Beat a level without killing anything. 10 points. (Tutorial doesn't count.)
2. Strength in Numbers: Unlock and beat a level with every character. 15 points. (Is shy guy a playable character?)
3. Pharoah's Curse: Beat the secret desert level. Since I don't know what it is, you decide point value.
4. Professional Explorer: Unlock all secrets. 30 points.

Boss Idea:

Trash Can
The wizard magics up a bag of trash, which hops in a can. There are two platforms floating over the arena that you can get on. In round one, it has a few attacks. It can jump up and ground pound, which causes spike waves to pop up. It can shoot a bouncing spike ball. (Like Wendy O' Koopa's attack.) Or it can shoot a Greg-egg. You have to pick up the greg-egg and throw it at the boss. The bag will pop out of the can, and run around. Jump on it. It will get back in the can. It gets a new attack: It can throw out an anvil, which will stun you if you're on the ground when it lands. Rinse and repeat, and knock the bag out. It can now try to jump on you, and will throw out anvils occasionally. Hit it, and it jumps back in the can. The can gets rockets, and flies up into the air. It has all it's old attacks, and can shoot out a fireball that will fall through the floor. Eventually, it will get mad, and shoot three greg-eggs out. It will then start bouncing up and down on the floor. (Think round three of the SMW Bowser fight.) Pick up a greg-egg, and hit it. The bag will fly out, and start bouncing around the room, on fire. Don't touch it. It will drop fireballs behind it. Eventually it will crash. It will shoot out three spike balls, and bounce around the room, occasionally throwing out anvils. Hit it one last time to win!

How about those?

Medals:
1. Might work, but in Ghost Houses there aren't many defeatable enemies. It would suck if I had to excliude some levels from this. Still a good idea though.
2. So far just Koopa and Goomba are playable characters. But it wouldn't be hard to include more if the only difference was how they look.
3. Individual secret levels could get medals, but if I can come up with enough more interesting one I'd give this a pass.
4. This one would obviously be a medal.

Boss:
A garbage can might work, but I probably wouldn't use most of your details.
