Finally got back to Koopa 2. It's been a while. Maybe I started again because some new people took interest. Who knows?
The snow level is complete. Now it's on to the cave, factory, cloud, airship, and castle levels. New enemies made include Greg-Eggs and Hammertoads.
P.S. Happy birthday to me.

Finished the blue switch palace. I also added an interesting switch secret. Started on cave level.

Like nonreccuring characters? I was thinking of going that way. But the deadlines were getting to me. I think I might do an unscheduled sort of deal with longer and less frequent comics. Three panels weren't really working for me either.

first, you can try both nonreccuring and reccuring characters. some of explosm characters have them.. for example the purple-shirt eye stabber. second, you don't have to make the comics all 3 panels. and last, you dont really have to make every comic a daily, or every few days. usually theres more people than just one posting 'daily' comics. (and i mean one every day, not loads)
If I bring it back it will be in a very different format.

I have a few small questions. I know that if you save all the Koopalings, you get the good ending. So, what happens if you get all the Bowser Coins?
Also, what happens if you kill all the babies in a level, and what are the big gold coins?

You need both to get the awesome ending.
Killling for babies gets you a 1up (boy is that a weird sentence) and the big coins are worth 10 coins.
You'll find out later, and the fourth is no longer going to be a jack in the box.
My bad, I meant star coins, not Bowser coins.

Can't say.
I'm going to rate the songs out of five. Not based on how good they are, but how well they fit.
Inside whale:
1) Was in a NG sponsored game, no way it's going in. Little heavy on the base. If it wasn't in a Front paged game already 2/5
2) Song didn't seem to know when it was starting. It's menancing, but it doesn't feel like the inside of a whale to me. 1/5
3) Disorienting, I like. Feels right. Though I might have to edit it for length. I'm not sure if I want to use this on Koopa 2 though. I think I'll save it for a future project. 3.5/5
Big Castle:
1) Feels to much like a medieval castle, not enough like a Mario castle. Really feels too much like an RPG song. 2/5
2) Not bad. But I get the feeling hearing the intro over and over again might get annoying. Feels a bit too much like it's waiting for something to happen. The song should feel more like something IS happening. It's marioish enough though. 2/5
Final boss:
Boss songs need to jump into gear right away. This one spends too much time building itself up and doesn't really get going until about a minute in. Even then it doesn't really have the action-packed sound I need. 2/5
Castle 1:
Isn't Mario enough. Also feels too much like something is about to happen. Wouldn't fit right with daytime either. Might even be too threatening fr the first castle. 1/5
Switch Palace:
1) High energy. But those synth claps mare irritating (just a thing of mine, I can't stand synth claps). Bass is a bit too harsh for a game song methinks. 1.5/5
2) It keeps going flat, like it's onm the radio. Too distracting. And it feels too much on the techno side overall. 1/5

I kinda got tired of making the comic. It wasn't turning out the way I wanted it to. I'll probably round out the year and rap a few things up retoractively. But for now it's over.
Plus I got a drawing tablet so I can't really justify the art style anymore. It may return later in a different format.
