So, I broke down and added medals to the game. There were some snags, but it wasn't too hard. Took all day though.

Calling on beta testers to try to get the medals. And maybe suggest some to add. But the game has to be beatable without getting a single medal. So no, "Beat the first boss." or things like that. (Maybe a bad example because it's totally possible to never beat the first boss, but on a typical playthrough it would come up.)

RELEASE DATE! Tuesday September 16th on www.lambta.co (Lambta.co Tuesday ;) ) and Wendesday September 17th on Newgrounds.

The teaser trailer should be coming out in the next couple days.

Look forward to it having nothing contained in the alpha. That was so long ago. I think I started this build of the game after NG mag disappeared.

Well, I'm always working on videos and such. But game-wise, probably an 8-bit styled crossover type thing I started ages ago. That project is about a good weeks worth of work away from being finished, and has been for a couple of years.

Well damn, this update went super smooth, loved the finished credits, the extra sound effects, the medals, everything.

For some reason when you unlock a medal, it says you got 0 points, in the description it tells you the real amount of points you got. I still don't know what the 5th cheat is or what the bloodening medal is.

2 bugs. In the game, it says that to get all heads for power-ups, you must get 4500 coins, when really you have to get 5000. There are a ton of clipping issues with the character pressing up against terrain, objects, etc. etc.

Man, they grow up so fast. *tears run down face*

I didn't go back and change any physics this time, so that helps things go more smoothly.

The medals have to be approved for you to actually get the points. If anything it should say zero everywhere.

Good catch, that should be 5000. What clipping issues? Are these new? I haven't seen any.

Sometimes you have to let them leave the nest.

Yeah, I haven't done them yet. It's one of those jobs that's easy, so I'm saving it for When I don't want to work too hard but actually want to get something accomplished.

Maybe. But it's going to have to outdo the second one, so it will be an even bigger project. When I do take on Koopa 3, I won't be doing it alone. It's going to take a team.
