I thought that might be what that room is for. I know I've missed a lot of secrets, I'll be spending some time trying to find them.
(Turns out I wasn't actually on the last phase of the boss, only the third one.) There does seem to be a glitch in the boss fight where sometimes, when the fourth phase begins, he doesn't fire the tomatoes. I'm currently in "Scroller."
Also, in 3-1, the background for Baby Waluigi's hiding place changes depending on whether it's day or night. Since it's technically an underground area, that doesn't make much sense.

Well, the phases are kind of weird with that boss. The attack cycle doesn't restart when you hit him, like the others. Does the animation play with no tomatoes falling, or is it skipped entirely?
It's under ground, or is it?

Hahaha, the boss for 4-5 is hard and funny(funny for what it is), creative. No bugs, except another wall bug, and in the crashed airship where when you go far right in the music room, there's and ending that you can walk on with invisible floors. The only level I couldn't beat was world 2 ghost house, I never like going there at night time, haha. Music bug in 5-1, don't know if anyone else had this.Thats about it, i'm going to finish the game tomorrow, right now just going to make a little bit of progress in 5-1. So far my favorite levels were the pyramid and 5-1. See you all later.

Thanks. I haven't actually finished the music room yet. If you couldn't beat the Ghost House, how did you get to the levels after it?

Sorry, my favorite level is not 5-1, it's 4-5, sorry, I have been saying 5-1 a lot, haha.

That makes more sense.

I used the palace shortcut.

There's no shortcut that can skip the second Ghost House. Hacks, I call hacks.

(It's pretty much an underwater sea cave, no matter what secrets it has. So yeah, it still seems kind of off to me.)

I have found a couple more secret levels... unfortunately, still no luck on the Koopalings and switch palace. Although I suspect you hid an exit to a secret level within a secret level. Devious (although I'm not certain as of yet.)

It makes more sense if you get the secret in there.

Alright, found the green switch palace. That was REALLY well hidden. I do know some things to be on the lookout for now, though.

That's not even the most well hidden secret in that level.

Welp, i'm on the final level of the game, 5-1 will murder everyone(5-1 is not the final level in the game, but will massacre anyone) but I passed it, my god, i'm planning to finish the game now and look for bugs tomorrow, well, wish me luck.

The difficulty curve gets pretty steep near the end. Good luck with the final level. You'll need it.

Got to go to sleep, can't tell if it's the final boss level, because Mario's not the boss, even though there's no more of the overworld map, plus it's called Mario's doomship, so I don't know whether it's the final level or not, goodnight everyone.

Found Iggy, now I just need to get to him...
You did say the Koopalings go in SMB3 order, right?

Yes.

Meh. I still don't think it makes sense, secret or no.
And as for the most well hidden secret, you're referring to the invisible pipe, yes? I found that by accident on my first run through.
He said the World 2 ghost house, not the second ghost house. And that one is skippable.
Also I finally got Iggy. Time to beat that stupid whale.

Warmer, but not exactly what I was talking about.

Mcsm Studios:"Hacks, all hacks" to me. I said world 2 ghost house, not the 2nd ghost house in the game.

Ah. My mistake.

Ok, I've made it to the final level and to the halfway flat and I KEEP FRICKING DYING. I mean, I know about the shortcut at the start, but I really want that sliver coin. What always gets me is the room with the 'repeat until you get the path right' formula. I'll have to try different shells than the wings.

So far I've got 72 star coins (well, 2 of those on the final level aren't considered in game as 'earned' yet) and 6 of the Koopalings, Ludwig being the last one. I also found the orange, cyan and pink pipe shortcuts, and thus the retro level. It's been a fairly good challenge and I haven't rage quit yet. That said, it really does get almost hilariously difficult at times.

I've also noticed a bit of a glitch in level 4-5, the factory. In the big room with the conveyer belts and shortly before the block guarded second star coin there is a small Mario robot on a conveyer belt (the one before the small tunnel with spikes above it) and whenever it gets to the far left of the conveyer belt it gets stuck and spazzes out a bit. Even jumping on it didn't free it, it just got stuck again.

Also, the Pipe enemies (that I suggested long ago, THANKS for using them) seem to be TOTALLY invincible; even hammers didn't beat them. Are they supposed to be unbeatable? Only that you did once mention they'd be killable with hammers and bones.

Also, I've been trying again and again to get the last star coin in level 5-1 and I simply can't do it due to how fast the screen pans. Even slowing it down like 20% or something would help a lot.

This game will definitely get a daily feature, if not the best of the month.

I'm considering adding a success sound as well as a fialure sound to that room. To help with the pattern recognition.

Only 3 coins to go. There are 6 warp pipes on the map in total; you're halfway there. I wanted beating the game to feel like an accomplishment.

Damn, I knew I should have tested that when I changed it.

There are 3 things that can kill them, 2 of those things are secrets. The other is the Starman.

It would be too easy that way. I suggest practicing wall jumping the same distance somewhere failure won't result in having to do the level over again.

Thanks, but I've been screwed over before. If anyone well known submits pretty much anything I'd lose.

Just beat the game, technically I didn't, because I didn't get the kooplings, so I guess you could say I got a bad ending. AMAZING GAME, some bugs in the final level but still, AMAZING GAME.Once you guys finish the ending cutscene, this game will be complete.Wall jump and "jumping on ememy" bugs is the only thing I encountered. There are a lot of music bugs unfortunately, but that's it. I wasn't looking for secrets or the switches(only found yellow and green), only found one koopling and I only have 24 toad coins, although I was planning to beat the game before getting any secrets.Time to start looking for secrets, I guess.

Thanks. Could you elaborate on the bugs? I think I know what the walljumping one might be. The music bugs are almost entirely because I put the music in at the last minute. The next update should fix 95-99% of them. The game is loaded out the ass with secrets.

Though the ending cutscene isn't all that needs to be done. Aside from the obvious bug fixes and difficulty teaks, there's the opening cutscene, the level you get for the good ending (and it's boss), as well as the credits and a bunch of work to fix up the menus so they work using the arrow keys. Also a screen that forces people to read the controls. You'd be amazed how often people leave a review asking how to do a simple action that was explained in game.

Oh, shit, just now seeing this! I'll get to testing tomorrow. My bad for the delay.

S'okay. I didn't, exactly send out an APB.

I can't find any secrets, searched throughout all of world 1 and still can't find anything, can someone please confirm if world 1 contains any secrets(don't tell me what level or where it is, just confirm secrets other than toad coins), just in case i'm searching for no reason, just tell me world 1, because I know for a fact all other worlds have super secret stuff.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
World one contains 3 secret exits, the obvious switch palace, and one very secret permanent power-up. Oh, and 2 Koopalings.
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

Yes, world 1 has secrets. Both a switch palace and a shortcut, and probably a Koopaling or two. Also levels often have shortcuts to the end of them.

SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
Every level in the game has a shorcut to the end. Always on the first area. And most of them include bonus rooms. I'll be adding rooms to the ones that don't have them yet.
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS

I found the switch palace and a shortcut to an end of a level, i'm mainly looking for kooplings, but i'm pretty sure the only koopling in world 1 is ludwig, but if I know MCSMStudios too well to say that there's only one koopling.

Ludwig shouldn't be in world one. I'll have to look into this.

Just realised there's a door I left in the second ghost house that pretty much skips the whole thing. I had it there for testing purposes, but forgot to remove it. It will be gone in the next update, so replay that level if you just pretty much skipped it.

Ok I want to test it. :)

You've been around for a while. Consider yourself in.

I started a new file so I could find the secret rooms in the switch palace, while dping so I've noticed 2 little bugs.

1- When the SMB3 level exit is used and the block is hit, if the character is facing to the left they kind of 'moonwalk' off the screen. Doesn't have any negative effects, but just letting you know in case it#s not intentional.

2- The Japanese Power-down isn't unlocking despite the fact I fulfilled the requirement of beating the first boss.

I'm now at the airship and I FINALLY managed to get the 3rd coin in the Sky level; took a lot of tries though. Also, I've found more secrets. Plus, I noticed that every level with a secret exit still in it has a faint letter L on the yellow icon; took me a while to spot it.

I now have 5 pairs of the pipes revealed; gold, orange, blue, pink and green; the green one was VERY well hidden, but I found it. Definitely a MASSIVE shortcut.

According to the map there is now only a secret exit in level 1 ... and I have NO idea where it is; I looked everywhere. Could you tell me please?

Also, where is Ludwig in the sky level? I saw the orange pipe at the end of the level and then thought I had to go under the clouds, but then I died. Any advice?

Also, lastly, how do I get the first coin in the airship level? I'm not sure how.

BTW, before I forget, a texture at the end of the first water level right before the exit looks really wrong ... mainly because it wasn't appearing at all despite the fact I could swim in it. You might want to correct that.

1- Somebody pointed that out. I considered keeping it as a neat little trick, but it's too easy to do. So I fixed it. It will be apparent in the next update.

2- Something I just missed. It will also be in the next update. Just beat the boss again when it comes out.

I was wondering when someone would notice the Ls.

Using the purple pipe and the green pipe can skip an enormous section of the game. You can beat the game playing only five levels. Find that purple pipe!

I can't tell, that would be cheating.

I involves a nonstandard looking pipe.

That's what it's supposed to look like. If you're talking about what I think you are, except you can't swm in the part I'm thinking of. Maybe I could add something there to make it look more interesting.
